Post-2015 Blog Week: 'Let's crowdsource the world's goals', TED Talk by Jamie Drummond, ONE Campaign

"Our world leaders … need our help. They need the cavalry, and the cavalry's not going to come from Mars; it's got to come from us."

In this TED Talk, anti-poverty activist and co-founder of the ONE Campaign Jamie Drummond outlines the surprising successes of the 8 Millennium Development Goals, and suggests a new crowdsourced approach for the next 15 years. This would mean using social media to ask thousands of people across the world what they think the new goals should be.

What do you think of his idea that everybody should have a say in designing the new global framework? And what do you think of his idea of rebranding the goals the Millennial Generation's Goals - would this help engage young people?
